Wont you reach out to me, please?

It always confuses me when some of my clients, publishers or advertisers, thank me for reaching out to them, helping them, or just having a candid conversation with them. They make it seem like it’s a big deal that the CEO of a company is putting in that type of effort and care for his clients. I don’t even know how to react to it at times, it freaks me out. When this happens I always take a step back and wonder, “when did this become not apart of my job description?

I genuinely love speaking to all my clients, big or small. I love hearing about their lives, hardships, successes, opinions, suggestions, complaints, and everything that’s anything. Talk smack to me about my Dallas Mavericks or Dallas Cowboys (but expect the smack talk right back), or tell me what your long term goals are and how we can help. I never, ever want any of my clients to feel like they can’t reach out to me and not expect a reply back. I might take a day or two to reply if I’m really swamped, but I never let one legitimate email go unanswered if it’s coming from one of my clients.

I’m a firm believer in never forgetting where you came from, where you started, and who helped you along the way. Even to this day I’m in the trenches with my team at Blue Track Media helping with the day to day as much as I can. Regardless of the growth Blue Track Media and any of my other companies experience, I’ll never ever be the type of CEO that’s sipping on a Corona Light by the beach all year long. I’m lucky to be blessed with such an amazing team around me that takes care of all the randomness that pops up everyday so that I can make the time to reach out to all of our clients. They also allow me to stick these late wacky schedules that make zero sense so I can plan the future and growth of our company. You can always tell by the random tweets I send out at 5AM at night if I’m sane or not. Usually I’m not.

So I passionately say, to all my clients, next time I reach out to you expect it. Don’t be thankful or shocked. Expect to hear from me or hear back from me. I look forward to hearing from all of you, it really makes my day.

  • Our clients enjoy how Blue Track Media is a seasoned expert in Incentive Marketing space and understands how to keep publishers away from risky advertisers.

  • And our clients definitely enjoy how Blue Track Media operates on one of the most robust and innovative proprietary publisher platforms.

I don’t have to keep reminding our clients of this, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy doing it.

I’m very impressed by the Link Locker and Content Locker that our team has built. We focused hard on a user friendly interface as well as adding all the key and important features that our publishers need or requested. Easy steps and instructions allow our publishers to have the lockers up and running in under 5 minutes! To top it off we have worked hard with our advertisers to deliver our publishers the highest EPCs, highest conversion rates, and highest payouts around.

This is usually the part where new publishers are in complete admiration and drop their teddy bears to quickly sign up to be apart of our network. But I’ll keep going for those 1-2 publishers that enjoy playing hard to get.

Here are just a few features publishers who utilize our Link Locker and Content Locker tool will enjoy:

  • Robust and Innovative Features
  • Live Preview
  • 100% Mobile optimized
  • WordPress Plugin

Interview: Shaz Amin, CEO of Blue Track Media – AffPaying

The following is an interview from AffPaying.com with the CEO of Blue Track Media, Shaz Amin. The Interview can be found here in it’s entirety.

We’re very excited to present our 63rd interview with Shaz Amin of Blue Track Media.

Shaz Amin is the Chief Executive Officer of one of the most trusted incentive advertising networks in the affiliate space, Blue Track Media. He is highly respected for running his company with the highest morals and top notch support. In his spare time, he loves to play and watch basketball as well as spend time with his friends and family. He aspires to one day be a philanthropist and change the lives of those who are less fortunate.

1. Could you tell us something about yourself? How old are you? Where were you born?

I turned 23 years old this year, quite depressing as I dislike aging, the only milestone I have left to look forward to now is now being able to rent a car at 25 without any surcharges. I was born in Karachi, Pakistan, but was fortunate to come to America at a very young age thanks to my parents.

I’d love to tell you many things about myself, where should I start? I’d first like to let all the readers know that I’m just like them. I love to watch football on Sundays, I enjoy pigging out with wings and pizza with family and friends, and that I’ve already made one too many mistakes in my short life as well. Regardless of my job and title, I am just another human being that faces real life issues as frequently as the next person. The main reason I’m telling you this is because I rather have people see me and judge me as the person I really am, rather than the accomplishments and resume that might sound great on LinkedIn. I welcome anyone who sees me to approach me and strike up a random conversation, I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them out any way I can.

2. How did you get involved in affiliate marketing? What/Who inspired you to enter it?

I never shy away from telling people who introduced me to this space. It was actually a good friend of mine whom I’m sure you know, Fehzan Ali from Adscend Media. It’s quite the tale; back in our adolescence days I believe I was one of his referrals for one of those free iPod GPT websites. Since then we’ve both climbed the ladder with incentive modeled companies and helped each other when needed.

3. What accomplishments so far are you the most proud of? When did you first “hit the big time”?

The biggest accomplishment to me was when I was relieving my mother from the responsibilities and bills around the house. My father passed away while I was a teenager so my mother had to pick up even more slack raising two children with a full time job. Nothing makes me more proud than saying that I forced my mom into an early and well deserved retirement!

The second question is a bit tough for me to answer. Regardless of what I have achieved financially, I have yet to believe that I’ve “hit the big time.” My definition of hitting it big is different, and it doesn’t completely involve money. To me it means making a positive impact in peoples’ lives that are less fortunate, enjoying time with friends and family without worldly stress, and gaining the upmost respect of my peers. Financial stability is very nice as well, but I have quickly and thankfully learned that money can either be a blessing or a curse, depending on what you do with it and how you behave once it arrives. It has the power to change people, and I would be lying if I said it hasn’t changed me. For better or worse has yet to be decided though, time will tell.

4. Tell us a little bit about Blue Track Media and what you do over there?

Blue Track Media is an advertising agency that represents advertisers who are looking to test out incentive promotional methods and publishers who run an incentive based model. Most advertisers are hesitant to experiment in this type of traffic, but we are happy to say that so far our advertisers have had phenomenal results. That’s mainly due to the extensive knowledge that we have in the incent niche. I’ve personally been a part of it for 7-8 years and know the ins and outs of it. We are known for our quality incentive traffic which includes Virtual Currency, Social Incentives, Mobile Incentives, Content Unlocking, Co-Registration/Offer Walls, and many other methods. With our proprietary platform, we have the freedom to give our publishers a different type of experience that is catered to their exact needs.

As the CEO, I manage the day to day operations and bring in new clients that could benefit from our model. I try to personally speak to new advertisers and publishers because they are able to see how genuine and trusting our company is once they are able to get a feel of the type of person I am. I have a great staff behind me that takes care of the rest of the tasks in order for our company to function effectively.

5. With so many incentivized/content locking networks competing, what are the factors that distinguish Blue Track Media from the rest of your competition?

This question is destined to be filled with cliché answers that most readers have probably already heard over and over again. I’ll try my best to answer this differently and short.

We do our best to respond to support questions after hours, on the weekends, and on holidays.
We built our platform from the ground up, which means we can add and change features upon request.
We have no debts or loans, so we pay on our publishers on time, every time.
You have the most genuine and down to earth person running this company, Shaz Amin.

I could say more of the regular boring rhetoric; such as we will beat competitor rates and how we have “exclusive” deals, but I’m sure you’re tired of hearing that over and over.

6. One way to keep affiliates happy is to pay them on time and faster. What steps has your network taken to ensure that your affiliates will be paid on time?

We pay our publishers on time; there is no question about it. You can look around and see that 99.9% of our publishers have no complaints about getting paid from us on a timely basis. We also have very good reviews from publishers who have accounts with us.

As for faster payments, we do have a few faster schedules for our publishers who can provide quality incentive traffic. One our publishers have brought in consistent quality and volume, they enjoy faster payments, however I won’t sit here and say that we’ll pay you weekly no matter what, because it’s quite hard to get weekly payments from us being in the nature of the business we are in. When we have 100 publishers driving traffic to one campaign, one publisher has the ability to ruin it for the rest of the 99 with low quality traffic. We never want to put our other publishers at risk so we do our best to maintain a level playing field as well as routinely check the quality of the incentive leads that are being delivered.

The good news is that we’ve never had a huge problem with our advertisers, thanks to our great publishers and fraud preventative measures; we are able to deliver quality traffic to them.

7. What type of niches are good for content locking right now? What type of content we can use for better conversion?

I would hate to sit here and divulge all the secrets of our publishers, so I won’t elaborate too much on what I believe is a good niche or idea for content locking. I’m sure many of your readers will respect that Blue Track Mediaholds the privacy of their publishers very highly. However I do think it’s safe to say that the best ideas for content locking are the ones that you are the most knowledgeable about.

For example, I personally have vast knowledge about basketball, so I’d probably make a basketball training guide with tips/plays and then put a content locker on top of it. Try to make something informative that people would want to go through the hassle of unlocking the content for!

8. What do you think is the greatest challenge facing the industry is right now?

One thing I’ve noticed is that many non-incentivized companies are branching off and creating sister incentive networks. I obviously do not fear the competition; actually I invite it since we can all work together, but I do fear that the quality of incentive traffic might decrease and advertisers will once again shy away from trying out this type of promotional method. Not every company has the vast knowledge of the incentive niche as we do, so I’d advise every publisher and advertiser to be careful who they work with and not judge the entire niche based on one company if they didn’t have a pleasurable experience.

9. Are there any plans to develop Blue Track Media further in the near future? Will there be any interesting changes/improvements made soon?

There are big plans to redo the entire interface to provide more of an elegant and user friendly feel to our client side. I get easily bored with design so I have to keep changing the look and feel of our platform so things can stay fresh.

There are always small changes and additions being made to our platform, the main reason I chose to develop a proprietary platform is to have the freedom to do whatever I want with it. I envision myself as a publisher logging into the platform everyday and wonder how I can make things simpler and cut the time it takes to find what I need. Every publisher has different needs, so one great thing about us is that we are able to cater to a variety of publishers and personalize the way they want things to appear. We always welcome suggestions from our clients and have a great track record of implementing them!

10. What is the one thing you love about your job as an affiliate network owner and what is the one thing you hate the most?

I really love conversing with our publishers and advertisers, even if it’s not solely about business. I enjoy hearing about people’s weekends, their accomplishments, their families, etc. I’m amazed at all the different stories and personalities we have in our industry, there are some truly bright people out there who have worked very hard to get to where they are today. Plus meeting everyone at the conferences regularly and hanging out with them at the after parties is a very enjoyable time for me.

I’m not a big fan of the stereotypes and condescending attitudes that some people have in this industry. Just because a person is new to the space, or doesn’t make 6 figures a year yet, they get treated differently and sometimes looked down upon. The good news is that there are not too many instances of this and there are some truly kind people in our industry.

11. What is your dream car?

Well considering that I still drive around my mom’s 1998 Honda Civic to keep me grounded, I’d say any car that is 1999 or higher would be a dream car! I can’t justify spending $100,000 on a car, it just makes no sense to me since cars are a negative investment. However, currently I am thinking about getting a new car soon, so I might consider the new Lexus GS series. I definitely enjoy luxurious and reliable cars; I’m that annoying guy who drives exactly 60 MPH on the highway!

12. What are some of your favorite TV shows?

I’m currently really obsessed with Suits! I’ve always wanted to go to law school and I really enjoy New York City, so that show really fills both of those desires for me. The Office is also one show that I can always watch over and over again, it never gets old for me and always keeps me laughing. I also enjoy Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Community, and many others.

13. What are some valuable lessons you have learned in life that you can share with the readers?

The first important lesson I learned is about time. I could sit here and use Wiz Khalifa’s quote on how “Time is money, so I went and bought a Rolex.

But I prefer to use this quote about time instead:

Waste your money and you’re only out of money, but waste your time and you’ve lost a part of your life.
- Michael LeBoeuf

I really began to value time after I graduated college, every year in college I couldn’t wait to get out. I knew I could use my time to make more money and start more companies once I was out. Well I finally got out, and you know what? I can’t tell you how much I miss being back in. It felt more like 4 months instead of the 4 years I was in college. I was too busy working countless hours to achieve more and more, when I should have taken some time to pause and enjoy what I have done with not just myself, but with my friends and family as well. After that realization, I vowed to myself that I would spend more time enjoying my life with loved ones and taking more adventures to experience new things before it was too late. While I still slave away working at times, I have learned to better balance both work and life.

The second thing lesson I learned is simple, stay humble, stay very humble. I am living proof that good things happen when you keep your head grounded and appreciate how fortunate you are.

14. Thanks a lot for this interview. If there is anything else you would like to say to the readers of Affpaying.com now is the time!

Ricky Ahuja Interviews Shaz Amin, CEO of Blue Track Media

The following is an interview by Ricky Ahuja of RickyAhuja.com - Helping You Make Money Online with Affiliate Marketing, of Shaz Amin, CEO of Blue Track Media. Ricky Ahuja is also the CEO of Affiliate Venture Group, Leader in Lead Generation and Performance Marketing. Blue Track Media, LLC is a performance-based incentive advertising agency based in Dallas, Texas that provides marketing solutions for both publishers and advertisers, specifically in the incentive vertical such as Virtual Currency, Mobile Incentives, Social Incentives, Content Unlockers, and more. The interview can be viewed in full here: http://rickyahuja.com/2012/04/what-can-brown-do-for-you-bluetrackmedia-com-shaz-amin/

I know it has been a while since my previous post but all good things come to those who wait. This next interview is with Shaz Amin – not only does he run a tight incent network but he gives brown people a good name when it comes to ballin, a rarity indeed.

I am especially pleased to do this interview as he was one of my first publishers at AVG and delivered consistent volume and quality and was always more than willing to communicate openly and transparently. I think you will all enjoy this one immensely so here we go:

1) Shaz, tell us briefly about yourself and how you got started in this industry and moreover, your forte’ into the whole Incent arena

Rick, first I want to say that I’m honored to be featured on your blog. I’m a long-time reader and I’m proud of how far you have come as a reliable industry personality. I’m going to do my best to give you a meaningful interview about our business and about myself, might be a “tldr” type of interview in some cases though. You’ve been warned!

It’s funny how easily I can talk about myself when no one is asking, but when asked, I can’t think of anything to say. Let’s start from the beginning: I’ve been in this industry for approximately 7 years, during which time I sort of climbed up the ladder from being one of the users who would sign up to receive a “free iPod,” to starting an incentive advertising agency. I was introduced to this industry when I was a very young teen by a personal friend, whom I’m sure you know, Fehzan Ali, co-owner of Adscend Media. RocketBills and Bonus Network were some of my early companies that had great success as well as helped me to understand the incentive industry as a whole.

In early 2009, while I was in college, I was ready to move one more step up the ladder and invested my time and resources into creating Blue Track Media. Our niche remains in the incentive space and we are a full-fledged incentive advertising agency. It took a long time to develop Blue Track Media’s proprietary system because I refused to use any of the generic tracking platforms available. I like to think of myself as someone who challenges the status quo. I see things very differently and usually choose to go against the established norms, which, as our track-record shows, results in innovative features that are of real value to our clients. Therefore I made a big investment in a proprietary platform; this was necessary to satisfy my unconventional, outside-the-box ideas as well as gain some early leverage in the industry.

Today Blue Track Media has transitioned into an advertising agency that represents advertisers who are looking for a reputable company to test out incentive promotional methods. Most advertisers are hesitant to experiment in this type of traffic, but we are happy to say that so far our advertisers have had phenomenal results. We are known for our quality incentive traffic which includes Virtual Currency, Social Incentives, Mobile Incentives, Content Unlocking, Co-Registration/Offer Walls, and many other methods. We work hard to make exclusive deals with advertisers and with our proprietary platform we are able to make virtually anything a reality for them. Be on the lookout for new, clean advertisers that are exclusive to Blue Track Media in the coming months!

Oh, I almost forgot to talk about my personal interests! I’m a huge sports fan, especially for the Dallas Mavericks (MFFL), Dallas Cowboys, and recently the Texas Rangers ( though I’m not afraid to admit that I hopped on the band wagon). I’m also a very competitive basketball player, as many have witnessed from the first annual ASW Las Vegas Classic Basketball Tournament. Aside from sports, I’d like to say I’m a pretty fun, kind, and outgoing person. I also tend to have no shame which sometimes gets me in a little trouble, but I can confidently say that there is no facade and this is who I really am every time.

2) Do you think being a Pakistani in this industry has hindered or helped you achieve the level of success you currently have or anticipated?

I think most people don’t even realize I’m Pakistani. It may surprise some to learn however that I was actually born in Pakistan and moved to the United States at very young age. You can’t tell with my American accent though, I did work hard at assimilating myself with my surroundings. But I must admit that I am THAT guy who wears socks with sandals; it’s something I’ll never give up.

I’m a very proud “Pakistani,” I never shy away from telling people where I’m really from. I wouldn’t say its hurt me at all, but that’s mainly because I have grown up in America and not many people I’ve come across so far in our industry would single me out for it, which I am very happy to say. I think in our industry the people living in the South Asian countries are perceived a different way than others and sometimes that perception is not favorable. I hope people like you and me can pave the way for other Pakistanis and Indians to be taken more seriously in this industry, especially with the marketing potential that India presents, given its massive population.

I do however want to take this opportunity to let people know that I am a proud Muslim. Many of the things I hear in industry-related forums about Muslims and our faith are incorrect or taken out of context. I invite any one to get in touch with me to have a respectable and understanding discussion to clear up any misunderstandings about the faith and allow me to show them how peaceful and warm-hearted Muslims truly are. We value and respect all different types of religions, faiths, and people. Many things seen in the media are very bias and can be cleared up with a respectful and intellectual discussion.

3) What are the top 3 factors that you feel contribute to your success?

I’m going to pop in a quick Kanye lyric (huge fan), “They’re going to have to take my life before they take my drive, because when I was barely living, that’s what kept me alive.”

I honestly believe that my strong work ethic and resiliency has opened up many successful opportunities for me. I was literally that person who was at home working 24 hours a day while all my friends were out enjoying their lives. I never had much of a fun party college life either since I was running Blue Track Media and coming home regularly to take care of my mom. My father passed away when I was 16 years old and coming from a not-so-wealthy family kept me striving for a better life for me and my family.

I also believe my morals are a cornerstone of my success because without them Blue Track Media wouldn’t have gained the trust of many of our clients. I will choose ethics over greed any day, no matter how much money is in question. I’m not saying I never made any mistakes in the past or continue making them today, I have, everyone has. I think it’s important to learn from these mistakes and grow as a person everyday. I try to be someone people can look up to and trust that I have their best intentions at heart. Our clients confidently believe that we do not participate in any unethical types of business practices. You can trust Blue Track Media, we’re good people.

My family has also been a major factor in my success because without them I don’t know where or what I would be today. My father was the most generous man I knew; he would gladly help a stranger on the road. One day we were driving on the freeway when we saw an elderly man with a flat tire and pulled to the side of the road. My father looked at me and said, “Today I will teach you how to change a tire.” My sister was also essential to my early success in life by teaching me responsibility. She practically raised me when I was young because both of my parents worked low-paying full-time jobs. She made sure I always was keeping up with school and getting my homework turned in on time (sometimes I’d make her do it for me, I was a brat). The foundation of my family however is my mother. She gave up so much for our family, especially when my father passed away. She’s the reason I am what I am today and I uphold such high morals. She taught me right from wrong and worked hard every single day to support our family. I was never spoiled with the newest toys, but she spoiled me with her love. I credit my “no excuses” attitude to her and I would be happy if I could be just a fraction of what she is.

4) How important is it to you to communicate with your publishers? Is there a particular message you are wanting to convey?

I can’t overstate the importance of regular, meaningful communication with every single client. There is no reason that any of our clients should see us as some big corporation without any personality. I genuinely care about all of our clients and I am always trying to reach out to them to let them know that I am literally just an email or phone call away if they ever need anything. It’s never hard to get a hold of me and I strive to reply to all of the emails I receive in a timely manner.

The message I want to convey to all of our current and future clients is simple. Blue Track Media does not see our clients as “walking, talking dollar signs”. They are much more to us than streams of revenue. We are eager to connect with our clients and we love to talk to them about things unrelated to business. We are glad to share their happiness and help them succeed in their ventures with our knowledge.

5) Talk to us specifically about your experience and frustrations in dealing with people in the industry.

In the early stages my experience with the industry was different. We got burned a couple times from our advertisers for large amounts of money, which could have potentially ended us. However I wasn’t going to let that be the end of Blue Track Media. I found ways to work around it and we’ve been thriving since. I never got to enjoy our industry starting out as much as I do today because back then I was busy with college and Blue Track Media which left no time for anything else. The moment I started networking and meeting new people is the moment I started getting the most out of our industry. Networking is key to any industry and especially ours. It still amazes me to this day how intelligent and creative the people in our industry are. I never stop learning and meeting new people, it keeps the excitement going.

6) Who has been your motivation or inspiration, in other words, who is your driving force?

Two people are my driving forces. One is my mother, whom I already elaborated on in the previous question. I just want repay her for everything she did for me and keep her happy and retired for life.

The other person that drives me is myself. I have great expectations for myself I want to make a difference in the world. I want to change many people’s lives and share my blessings with them. There is a lot I need to do to achieve my goal of becoming a philanthropist and that usually keeps my motivation in overdrive.

7) What do you think is the impact of the “new” media on today’s generation? Are they leveraging it effectively and more importantly – are they leveraging it for the betterment of our industry?

Our clients are always coming up with new and exciting ways to put a spin on incentive traffic. They usually come to me for advice and my thoughts about certain ideas they have and it amazes me how creative they can get. The best part of it is that most of their ideas involve cleaning up the incentive industry and making it valuable to advertisers. I’m not going to out any of their ideas or plans since everything is kept confidential, but I am proud to say that Blue Track Media has some of the cleanest and most intellectual clients who do their best to deliver quality incentive leads to our advertisers.

8 ) Being a minority myself, there are constant stereotypes that I have to overcome, have you ever experienced this?

When I was young I used to get picked on in school because of the way I looked, spoke, and dressed. Coming to America from Pakistan was a big step for our family. I used to tell my mom I didn’t want to go to school in the beginning because I couldn’t speak English well and I wouldn’t be able to make any friends.

Fortunately I found out at an early age the secret to a popular childhood. That secret is, if you are a talented athlete, people stop stereotyping you and start respecting you. As soon as I started developing my athletic skills and making the school basketball teams every year, I stopped getting picked on. Everyone magically became my friend and wouldn’t dare to mess with me. It’s quite sad, but I guess that’s just the way it is with young people. However, nowadays those kinds of things don’t really ever happen so it’s actually not an issue anymore.

9) Thoughts about the other brown guy from your neck of the woods – Fez@Adscend?

Fehzan is a good guy, we practically grew up together and previously ran The Bonus Network together. He has done a great job with Adscend Media and I hope the best for them. As I mentioned, he introduced me to this industry several years back and helped me understand a few concepts. It was helpful having a friend in the industry to bounce ideas off of periodically. Although we are somewhat in the same industry, our companies are completely independent of one another. People frequently mix the two of us up but I want to make it clear that Fehzan is not currently, nor has he ever been, affiliated in any way with Blue Track Media. My success is solely the result of the countless hours and hard work that I have invested in the company from the beginning, not anyone else. Although it is not the case, some people in the industry do mix Fehzan and I up or think we’re related and that always brings me a bit of comic relief. Oddly enough, I believe this is one stereotype I’ve experienced in the industry!

10) What are some effective tools and products that help you keep your life organized?

Google. I love Google. I call Gmail “God’s’ Mail. It keeps me sane and organized. I use it all: Gmail, Calendar, Android, Gchat; all of it! I also have such a bad memory so I create many notes and stickies to remind myself of the important things I need to get done. I get such a sense of accomplishment when I cross things off a list!

11) If you had a money tree in your back yard and could purchase anything for your business tomorrow, what would it be?

I’d take that money and build a bigger team to keep up with all the demand at Blue Track Media. I have a great team around me right now that works very hard, sometimes around the clock, to make sure things are running efficiently for our clients. Blue Track Media is more successful today and will be more successful in the future because of our great employees. I would definitely take that money to hire additional reliable members and ease up everyone’s stresses just a little.

12) Any words of wisdom for my readers looking to get into this space?

Wow, I feel old giving words of wisdom out at such a young age. I think my best advice would be to never settle for less and always expect the best from yourself. Once you set a high standard for yourself, your output becomes that much more valuable and impressive. Don’t make excuses of why you haven’t researched or put your new idea into effect – excuses get you nowhere. There is so much information available for free around the web and especially in forums. Research, read, take risks, get out to the conferences, meet new people and learn new things. Don’t be scared to fail, if you fail, learn from your mistakes and go at it again. You do learn a lot of things from failure, it’s a cliché because it’s true. In the end you are in control of your life and successes, no one else.

Elliott Grozan Joins Blue Track Media

And we keep growing and growing! If it’s not a new innovative feature for our publishers one week or some direct exclusive campaigns from our advertisers next week, we find other ways to keep things fresh and new at Blue Track Media!

We appreciate all of our affiliates and advertisers for welcoming the newest addition to the charismatic staff of Blue Track Media, Elliott Grozan. In his new role as the Director of Global Sales of Blue Track Media, Elliott Grozan will strive to execute direct and exclusive incentive campaigns to all of our publishers, which include new and exclusive incentive campaigns for our content unlocker, file hosting gateway, short URL redirect, as well as our other innovative tools.

“I’m here to grow our advertiser base with direct and exclusive campaigns to help monetize every country worldwide for our valued publishers. My goal is to increase the number of campaigns available in Blue Track Media ten folds as well as manage the great relations we have with our cherished advertisers.”

Elliott Grozan has prodigious experience and relations in the affiliate marketing industry, which are exactly the qualities Blue Track Media was looking to fill in this role. CEO Shaz Amin is confident that Elliott Grozan will not only meet his expectations, but will go above and beyond to ensure Blue Track Media is ahead its competitive space.

“After hearing all the great plans that Elliott has for Blue Track Media, I am certain that Elliott is the perfect fit for the companies’ instantaneous growth and ethical business practices.”

Accompanying the business attributes of Elliott Grozan is a lively and energetic lifestyle. His hobbies include surfing, basketball, traveling around the world, UCF football, and most importantly, time with his warmhearted family.

Blue Track Media took his support for all of the Florida based sports team into great consideration before hiring him, respecting his dedication since they as well are highly devoted to their Dallas based sports teams “until death do [them] apart.” After hours of arguing and negotiating over the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers being a better tandem than the Orlando Magic, Miami Dolphins, and Florida Marlins, Elliott and Blue Track Media have agreed to the terms that he would have to extend his support for all Dallas based sports teams in order to be accepted as an employee for Blue Track Media.

“I really didn’t have a choice, Shaz wouldn’t back down. As a matter of fact he made me say “Go MAVS!” before everything was set in stone. The man loves his sports.”

We tried to reach our CEO Shaz Amin for a follow up, but he had no comment. In fact, he told us to “stop lolly-gagging and get back to work!”

CEO Shaz Amin and Blue Track Media Thank Steve Jobs

The following brief post is personally from our CEO Shaz Amin expressing the role Steve Jobs has played in his business and personal life.

I will be the first to admit that I never personally enjoyed using any Apple product other than my iPod shuffle, which is the perfect thing to use when I hit the gym for my daily (more like weekly) gym visits. I’m that guy who rather use a Windows, BlackBerry or Android product over its Apple equivalents. It’s just my personal preference, I’m much more efficient on them. With that being said, many might think of me as an “Apple hater.” Sure, I do bag on Apple products whenever I get the chance, there is nothing more fulfilling than listening to Apple fanboys praise “inventions” by Apple, but one thing is for certain. I am not a “Steve Jobs hater.”

There are very few people that I personally look up to; Steve Jobs is one of them. He wasn’t an inventor; he never created anything that wasn’t already there. What he did was take something that was already created, and made it 10x better. Then he marketed it a way that he knew would leave some type of impression on the world. The man was a genius at marketing. His marketing skills were a big part of why Apple was so successful, in addition to its technology and software.

“Picasso had a saying. Good artists copy, great artists steal.” – Steve Jobs

The fact that the man could call something already created “revolutionary” and leave the audience in awe and agreement, is something I highly respect being in a sect of the marketing and advertising industry. Steve could have told his Apple fans to bark, and they would have barked. They were sprung on his passion for his products and the way he presented them. Take a look at all the newer gadgets around you, be it laptops, phones, mp3 players, etc. and start noticing how they all in some way took a piece of what he envision for his products.  His importance on the elegance of design and layout is something I thank him for because I have adapted it in all my current and future ventures, with it being Blue Track Media or some others.

In many ways I can relate to his passion and love for what he did. I am too passionate about my work; Blue Track Media has been built from the ground up with years and years of sweat, blood, and tears. While all my friends were enjoying their amazing college lives, while my family was enjoying their time together, I was sitting here envious, working 15-20 hour days with my staff making sure that every single part of Blue Track Media was exactly the way I wanted it to be in both the front and back ends.  It’s obviously still not the way I want it, but that’s because being a perfectionist means I will never be satisfied with any product. However, I truly can say I put all my heart into Blue Track Media, and will continue putting my heart into it to deliver the type of affiliate network that I would be proud to be a part of.

But one important thing I gained from the death of Steve Jobs is that money can’t reverse, forward, or buy time. 6 billion dollars could not beat out the pancreatic cancer that plagued the life of Steve Jobs. While I was foolish in my past by ignoring the importance a loving of family, amazing friends, and the great gift of life, I will not be foolish in my present and future. All the money in the world will never amount to the happiness that they bring me, and I say that from personally experiencing the loss of someone who brought me into this world when I was a mere teenager.

To all my staff, publishers, advertisers, family, friends, and whoever else is reading this, don’t take simple things such as friends and family for granted. Do not forget the beauty of life for the chase of paper. It’s great to be passionate about your work, but never ignore the passion for your family and friends. You truly never know if there will be a tomorrow. In the end your money and luxuries will not follow you, but the impact you made on the lives of those around you will follow them long after you’ve left. Enjoy them as much as you can and build memories that will last forever, one day that might be all you have of them.

I’ll end with this; I encourage everyone to take 15 minutes out of their day to listen to Steve Job’s 2005 Stanford Commencement Address. I’ve listened to it many times, and it still touches the same way it did when I heard it the first time. To the Blue Track Media staff, feel free to take a break and listen to this speech during the work day. I’ll turn the other cheek just this once.

Blue Track Media Reinvents the Publisher Panel

They say Apple reinvented the Phone, well we say Blue Track Media reinvented the Affiliate Network Publisher Panel. Months and months of designing and planning have led Blue Track Media to confidently claim that we have one of the most innovative and hands-on publisher panels in the affiliate marketing industry today. As the CEO, I’m sitting here envious, wishing that I was an actual publisher of my Blue Track Media!

  • Real Time Feeds - The system and its employees will now send real time updates to the publishers in the form of notifications and feeds. Publishers will now be able to literally stalk our every move!
  • Support Tickets – A system has been implemented in the publisher panel to submit tickets to the support team. Just yet another way of getting in touch with our affiliate managers for any questions or concerns. Support is still and will remain our main priority and focus.
  • Conversion Rates and EPCs – And they’re back! CR’s and EPC’s have been reinstalled to all of our campaigns to give our publishers more insight on how our incentive campaigns are performing network wide. One of the most requested features is now back, rejoice!
  • Message From the CEO – Special spot reserved for yours truly, Shaz Amin, to rely whatever is on my mind. I always find it important that all of our clients, publishers and advertisers, are aware that I am around and very easy to reach. There is no hiding in the shadows for this CEO. But beware; I’m fairly odd, so random things might show up here.
  • Content Unlocker – Most impressive, publisher controlled, and innovative content unlocker in the industry. No joke, if you have not tried out Blue Track Media’s content unlocker, you are missing out. It’s like missing out on a game winning shot by Michael Jordan without the invention of replays. Yes, that’s painful. But in all seriousness, we have way too many innovative features and top tiered campaigns that no publisher should miss out on. Contact your AM today to get approved to use out content unlocker.

Just send us an email, or better yet even personally email me at shaz@bluetrackmedia.com, and I’ll deeply consider your request.

We do hope that our publishers love this new panel as much as we do. We would love to hear your feedback on it, so comment away!
